Summer is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to start marking your calendars with some awesome Summertime activities.  Be sure to include Holgate Hill on your itinerary! We have some fun things lined up.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Rhône Release Weekend
May 24th – 26th

Stop by May 24th through 26th for a weekend of awesome Rhône wines.  The wine list will include: Grenache & Mourvedre Rose, Grenache Syrah Mourvedre (GSM) blend, 100% Grenache, 100% Mourvedre, and our fantastic Climax Red. Join us in the Tasting Room on Saturday, May 25th to enjoy our new releases paired perfectly with amazing cheeses.
$5 cheese pairing per person;  complimentary for Wine Club

Wine Club Release & Dancin’ in the Street
June 15th, Open ’til 8pm

Our next Wine Club Release will coincide with the first Dancin’ in the Street, a summer concert series in Amador City! We will be open late so you can cool off and wet your whistle in between dancing your heart out.  Wine Club Members: be on the lookout for a separate email with details about your June Wine Club Release in a week or so.

Spring has Sprung at Holgate Hill

SPRINGTIME AT HOLGATE HILL
Happy Spring!

The weather is warming up, the wildflowers are blooming, and the wines are tasting even that much better.  We would like to thank everyone who has come out to our tasting room in Amador City.  If you have yet to stop by, no worries! We’ll try not to drink all the wine until you get here.

Daffodil Hill, a beautiful destination, is officially open!  Stop by our Amador City tasting room and pick up some wine to enjoy with a picnic at Dafodil Hill’s lovely grounds.  Click the picture below to learn more.

Holgate Hill has some really fun and exciting things in the works.

Join us for our GRAND OPENING March 2nd & 3rd!

Holgate Hill is proud to announce the GRAND OPENING of our historic Amador City tasting room the weekend of March 2nd & 3rd.  Our Grand Opening is the same weekend as Behind the Cellar Door – over 50 Amador Vintners will be participating in this really fun event, and SO ARE WE!

Here’s what we have planned:

We will be pouring our wines, including some new releases, paired with meatballs and California Caprese Skewers.  Come see the new digs, enjoy the wine and food pairings, and chat with us about how we’ve started our boutique winery from scratch.

You do not need a ticket to visit our tasting room during our Grand Opening.  Our tastings will be complimentary. If you are a Wine Club member all of your guests will also get your awesome Wine Club discount!

We will be open from 11am – 6pm for our Grand Opening weekend.

Spring Is In The Air

If you are like us, you can’t wait for the cold weather and rains to be over.  Warm sunshine, birds chirping, and flowers blooming.  Amador County is a perfect venue to see Spring at it’s finest!  Select “pick-up” at checkout, and stop by Holgate Hill on your way to Daffodil Hill in Volcano – a beautiful site, perfect for a picnic lunch with some of your favorite wines.  You wont be disappointed!

We are officially OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

It has been a long road, with many obstacles and red-tape, but we are finally here! You can now purchase some of our super-limited-production wines online. Believe me, they are all delicious. Don’t want to take my word for it? Then BUY some and TRY for yourself!  If you really love our wines, then sign up for our newly created Wine Club.
